We are thrilled to announce that pianist Sarah Cahill has joined the Jensen Artists roster for both management and PR. Sarah has been called "A leading light of the new-music piano scene" by The New York Times and "The doyenne of contemporary keyboard music" by the Financial Times. Starting this month, our team will be handling Sarah's management and publicity for all upcoming concerts and releases.
Sarah has commissioned, premiered, and recorded numerous compositions for solo piano. Composers who have dedicated works to her include John Adams, Terry Riley, Frederic Rzewski, Pauline Oliveros, Yoko Ono, and Evan Ziporyn, and she has also premiered pieces by Lou Harrison, Julia Wolfe, Ingram Marshall, Toshi Ichiyanagi, George Lewis, Leo Ornstein, and many others.
Upcoming performances include a residency at the Noguchi Museum, a survey of 20th century experimentalists at New Music Works in Santa Cruz, and recitals at Noe Valley Ministry, Old First Church, and Hotel Rex in San Francisco.
