Telegraph Quartet signs with Jensen Artists for management & PR
We are delighted to welcome San Francisco-based Telegraph Quartet to the Jensen Artists roster for management and PR!
Formed in 2013, Telegraph is quickly earning acclaim for its passionate performances of both standard and contemporary repertoire. San Francisco Chronicle describes the group as "an incredibly valuable addition to the cultural landscape" and "powerfully adept ... with a combination of brilliance and subtlety." The Strad recently reviewed their Carnegie Hall debut, writing, "With precise tuning, textural variety and impassioned communication, the Telegraph players burned this masterpiece [Schoenberg's String Quartet No. 1] into one's memory." Telegraph Quartet was awarded the prestigious 2016 Walter W. Naumburg Chamber Music Award and the Grand Prize at the 2014 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition.
The Quartet is currently on faculty at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music as their Quartet-in-Residence, which includes several performances in the 2018-19 season. Other highlights in the upcoming season include San Francisco Performances, Rockefeller University, Howland Chamber Music Circle, and Artist Series of Tallahassee. Telegraph Quartet is releasing its debut album, Into The Light, this fall on Centaur Records, which features works by Anton Webern, Benjamin Britten, and Leon Kirchner.
